TELEN HOME Controller
TELEN HOME controller for interface of TELEN HOME range panels directly onto BT Master Telephone Socket in house or flat. Requires a 12VDC (2 Amp minimum) regulated psu.
TELEN HOME telephony based 1no button door entry panels connect to a TELEN HOME Controller which is connected directly onto the BT master socket in the house. There is no need for a separate telephone line.
When a visitor presses the call-button, the telephone handsets in the house ring (different tone to standard incoming calls). The person answering can speak to the visitor and can open the door or gate by pressing the 0 button on the telephone handset.
If the house resident is already on the telephone when a visitor calls, the resident hears distinctive audio beeps to advise that a visitor is also calling. The house resident can switch to the visitor call - speak to the visitor and open the door - and then, switch back to the original call. The same applies the other way around.
