Business Development Executive


Job Location: NACD Limited Head Office and regular travel to Client Sites

Job summary – the general nature of the job and its primary objectives:
• Build new and existing client base
• Organising sales demos with major Housing Associations to introduce NACD product range
• Schedule and attend meetings with new and existing clients
• Provide input on product improvements and new product suggestions
• Selling installations, enhancements, renovations, products and Service Agreements
• Achieve personal sales targets
• Produce and submit monthly reports on sales and marketing to Sales Department Manager

Main duties and essential responsibilities:
• Attending meetings at client locations in order to sell and market the company product range (out of office for at least 60% of working week)
• Communicate with clients to achieve sales (i.e. telephone sales)
• Provide input on marketing decisions
• Generation and development of ‘leads’ for new business opportunities
• Attend exhibitions
• Client account management
• Produce and present monthly sales report to NACD Contracts & Sales Manager (this is to include sales figures, internal/external sales feedback, client specific data, quotations completed/issued, forthcoming order projections, etc.)
• Provide sales projections and financial forecasting data
• Achieve personal sales targets

Knowledge and skills required:
• The Business Development Executive will have a solid knowledge of the NACD product range, how the products operate and overall installation methods
• At least 5 years’ sales experience in the building / construction industry
• Previous experience with Major Housing Associations & Builders
• Client relationship development capability
• Organisational skills
• Excellent Communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Proactive, flexible approach
